Earlier today, LG announced its plans to immediately start mass production of a plastic-based flexible display, which will reportedly end up in an LG branded device by November. That’s not the only news coming our way from LG, though. The Korean firm has also revealed that its impressive G Pad 8.3 tablet will arrive to Korea on October 14th.

The G Pad 8.3 represents LG’s first tablet since the ill-fated G Slate, and is also LG’s first device to feature the new “Q Pair” function, which allows you to easily sync alerts, memos and notifications across your Android 4.1+ phone and your tablet.

Looking to the hardware, the upcoming tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU accompanied with 2GB of RAM. Other specs will include a 1920 x 1200 8.3-inch display, 16GB storage, microSD, a 5MP rear cam, 1.3MP front cam and a 4,600 mAh battery. There’s also Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean onboard.

As for the price, the G Pad 8.3 will set consumers back 550,000 won in Korea – or about $ 515. Of course that doesn’t mean the tablet will be priced so high when it hits other markets, as the rumor mill currently suggests the price tag will be somewhere around the $ 300 mark.

Wondering when the G Pad will actually reach your country? While LG has yet to give out specific details, they have made it clear that they plan to release the tablet to at least 30 additional countries by the year’s end, the United States included.

So how about it, interested in picking up LG’s new tablet or not?
